Toyota Motor Corporation has reached new milestones in global production and sales during the first half of 2025, driven by strong demand for hybrids and solid performance in key markets.
From January to June, Toyota sold over 5.1 million vehicles, marking a 5.5% increase compared to the same period last year. Production also saw a rise of 5.8%, totaling approximately 4.9 million units.
In June alone, vehicle deliveries increased by 1.7% to 867,906 units, while production reached 854,565 vehicles.

Nearly 43% of Toyota’s sales in the first half of the year were hybrid models, highlighting the automaker’s leadership in electrified mobility. This transition helps to mitigate global challenges, such as U.S. tariffs, particularly since Toyota focuses on producing vehicles in local markets like North America, Japan, and China.
