Toyota has unveiled the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella, its new all-electric SUV for the Indian market. Based on the Maruti Suzuki e‑Vitara, the Ebella features Toyota’s design touches and advanced EV technology.
Bookings have opened with a token of Rs 25,000, while the official price will be announced closer to launch.
The SUV is aimed at buyers looking for a practical, tech-packed electric car and will compete with other popular electric SUVs in India. So, lets know what are the features available in this latest electric SUV.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella: Design
The all new Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella has a modern electric SUV look with sleek LED headlamps, LED DRLs, and a closed front grille. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and has aerodynamic styling with bold character lines. Toyota will offer multiple single-tone and dual-tone colour options for customers.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella: Battery and Performance
The SUV comes with two battery options — 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The smaller battery produces 144 PS, while the larger one delivers 174 PS. Both have a front electric motor with 189 Nm of torque. The bigger battery offers an ARAI range of up to 543 km and supports AC and DC fast charging.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella: Interior and Features
Inside, the Ebella features a 10.1-inch digital driver display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Comfort features include ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, adjustable rear seats, wireless charging, and a JBL sound system.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella: Safety and Driver Assistance
The SUV offers seven airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, and a 360-degree camera. Higher trims come with Level-2 ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring.

Rivals and Market
The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella will compete with the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE6, and the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. With Toyota’s brand trust, EV technology, and ownership perks, the Ebella is set to attract buyers in India’s growing electric SUV market.
