TVS Motor is set to enter the adventure motorcycle segment with its first-ever adventure (ADV) bike, the new TVS Apache RTX 300. Recent reports indicate that this bike has been spotted during testing on Indian roads, and spy shots have been leaked online.

The upcoming model promises a rugged design, premium features, and a brand-new engine platform. While the official launch is expected in mid-2025, excitement surrounding this bike is already building.

The Apache RTX 300 features an adventure-ready design with a tall windscreen, semi-fairing, and a sculpted fuel tank. It includes split LED headlamps, LED indicators, and modern tail lamps.

The bike will be available in dual-tone color options like Khaki Green and Silver, which enhance its visual appeal. It boasts an upright riding posture, a scooped seat for lower height, a stepped pillion seat, a rear luggage rack, a short tail tidy, and an up-swept exhaust for water-wading capabilities.

TVS Apache RTX 300: Suspension & Hardware

Built on a trellis chassis with a bolt-on subframe, the Apache RTX 300 features USD telescopic front forks and a likely adjustable rear monoshock for suspension. It sports 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels equipped with dual-purpose tires.

Braking is handled by petal disc rotors with premium calipers and dual-channel ABS (switchable).

TVS Apache RTX 300: Engine & Performance

The all-new TVS Apache RTX 300 is expected to be powered by the RT-XD4 299cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine should produce a maximum power of 35.45 PS and peak torque of 28.5 Nm.

It will come with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slipper clutch and a likely bi-directional quick-shifter. Additional technological features may include ride-by-wire throttle, cruise control, traction control, and multiple riding modes, as well as a digital TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, trip telemetry, music control, and SmartXonnect integration for a connected riding experience.

The bike is also expected to include a USB charging port, cornering ABS, and wheelie control in its top variants.

The anticipated price for the TVS Apache RTX 300 is around ₹2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM Adventure 390, BMW G310 GS, Hero XPulse 421, and Yezdi Adventure in the Indian market.
