TVS to Launch Its First Adventure Tourer Motorcycle and New Electric Bike in FY26

TVS Motor Company, one of India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturers, is gearing up for a major product expansion.

As confirmed in its latest annual report, the brand is all set to launch its first-ever adventure-tourer motorcycle along with a new electric motorcycle in FY26 (April 2025–March 2026).

This marks a bold new direction for TVS as it ventures deeper into both premium and electric segments.

Upcoming TVS Adventure Tourer Bike

The upcoming TVS ADV (Adventure Tourer) is expected to be positioned as a rival to the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, Hero XPulse 400, and the KTM 390 Adventure.

Although detailed specs remain under wraps, it’s likely that the motorcycle will get a rugged design, long-travel suspension, dual-purpose tyres, and advanced rider aids.

TVS is working on new electric bike too

Industry sources suggest it could be powered by a brand-new engine platform, possibly in the 300cc–400cc range, developed to cater to the growing demand for mid-size touring bikes in India.

TVS Apache RTR Electric in Pipeline?

At the same time, TVS is also preparing to strengthen its electric mobility portfolio with a new electric motorcycle TVS Apache RTR Electric, which is currently under development.

The upcoming e-bike could be positioned as a commuter-focused or sporty offering, and may compete with rivals like Revolt RV400, Ultraviolette F77, or Oben Rorr depending on its pricing and performance specs. Expect it to feature cutting-edge battery tech, fast charging capability, and connected features via TVS’s SmartXonnect platform.

These launches will be part of TVS’s broader strategy to double down on premiumisation and electrification. The company has already seen success with models like the TVS Apache RR 310 in the premium space and iQube in the EV segment.

With the new adventure tourer and electric bike, TVS aims to take on both emerging and established players with fresh, India-centric innovations.

While the launch timeline is set for FY26, expect testing prototypes to surface on roads by early 2025. Pricing, specs, and final design details are likely to be revealed closer to launch.
