Hero MotoCorp has launched its all-new Vida VX2 electric scooter in India. This model is smart, affordable EV designed for urban riders and has been equipped with impressive features, swappable batteries, and connected tech, the VX2 aims to disrupt the budget EV segment.

Features of Vida VX2
The Hero Vida VX2 has been launched in two variants: VX2 Go and VX2 Plus. It has been equipped with removable batteries (2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh) with IDC-certified ranges of 92 km and 142 km, respectively.
It has been equipped with 4.3-inch LCD/TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, OTA updates, Alexa voice control, and smartphone connectivity. Keeping safety of rider in mind this scooter has been equipped with remote immobilization, fall-safe, and emergency stop signal.
It also supports fast charging (0–80% in 1 hour), has 33.2L under-seat storage, and comes with three riding modes. With Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS), its prices start at Rs 59,490.

Rival 1: TVS iQube 3.1
Hero Vida VX2 compete with the TVS iQube 3.1 in Indian market. Let us tell you that the iQube 3.1 is a smart electric scooter powered by a 3.1 kWh fixed battery, offering a claimed range of 123 km.
It has been equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, USB charging, and OTA updates. The scooter supports 0–80% charging in about 2 hours and 45 minutes and has a top speed of 82 km/h. It offers 32L under-seat storage, a pillion backrest, and regenerative braking.
In market this scooter has been priced at around Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

Rival 2: Bajaj Chetak 3001
The Bajaj Chetak 3001 is a premium electric scooter equipped with a 3 kWh battery, delivering an IDC range of 127 km. This scooter is also a direct rival of the Hero Vida VX2.
It has a retro-modern design, all-metal body, and a digital instrument cluster. The scooter supports 0–80% charging in approximately 3 hours and 50 minutes using a 750W charger.
It lacks fast-charging support but compensates with robust build quality and elegant styling. The Chetak 3001 is priced at Rs 99,900 (ex-showroom), making it a close competitor to the Vida VX2 Go.
