Xiaomi has officially launched its first electric SUV Xiaomi YU7, boasting a class-leading 835km range and a starting price of Rs 30 lakh.
Company has launched this EV in three different variants namely Standard, Pro, and Max
With this debut, the tech giant pivots from smartphones to steering wheels, aiming to rival established players like Tesla and BYD.

Xiaomi YU7: Powertrain and Range
The all new Xiaomi YU7 Standard model runs on rear-wheel drive and offers 320hp, hitting 0–100 km/h in just 5.88 seconds.
On the other hand the Pro and Max variants have all-wheel drive, with the Max delivering a powerful 690hp and sprinting to 100 km/h in just 3.23 seconds.
Let us tell you that all versions are powered by Xiaomi’s new HyperEngine V6s, built on an 800V system that supports ultra-fast charging—up to 620km of range in just 15 minutes.
Xiaomi YU7: Design
In terms of design all-new Xiaomi YU7 SUV looks sleek and sporty. Some auto lovers says it gives off Ferrari Purosangue vibes. It’s large too, measuring nearly five meters in length, with a spacious interior that can hold up to 1,970 liters of luggage when the rear seats are folded.
Xiaomi YU7: Cabin
YU7 is packed with high-tech features. It includes a large 16.1-inch touchscreen, a panoramic display across the windshield, smart driving assistance with LiDAR and NVIDIA-powered systems, and luxurious comfort features like Nappa leather seats with massage functions. Passengers in the back even get their own detachable screen for entertainment.
Xiaomi’s move into EVs seems to be paying off quickly. Within just three minutes of launch, the YU7 received over 200,000 pre-orders in China, showing just how much excitement the brand has generated in this new space.
