Mercedes-Benz has launched its new luxury car 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS in the Indian market. The company had introduced this vehicle in the global market in April last year. Mercedes has launched this vehicle in 2 trims GLS 450 and GLS 400D and it has been given 5 color options.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS has been launched at Rs 1.32 crore for the petrol GLS 450 model and Rs 1.37 crore for the 450D diesel model (all prices ex-showroom). This car will compete with BMW X5.

The look of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS has been updated. This vehicle is built on the Modular High Architecture (MHA) platform, which makes it longer and wider than other SUVs. It has air inlet grilles with high-gloss black surround on the front bumper.

It has stylish 21-inch alloy wheels. The front bumper of the car has been given a new LED pattern with high-gloss black surround, air inlet grilles and headlamps.

2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS: Engine

Mercedes-Benz GLS has been launched in hybrid petrol and diesel engine options. The vehicle has a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine in the GLS 400D trim, which generates maximum power of 325Bhp and peak torque of 700Nm.

On the other hand, its GLS 450 trim has a 3.0-litre petrol engine, which is capable of producing 360Bhp. Both these engines are connected to 48V hybrid setup. This vehicle is equipped with 4 wheel drive system.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS has a 7-seater cabin with wooden trim on the dashboard, leather upholstery, multi-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, multi-color ambient lighting.

It has a 12.3-inch freestanding driver display and 11.9-inch infotainment panel, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For safety, this vehicle has been provided with special features like Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), multiple airbags, parking assist, 360 degree camera and hill assist.
