TATA Punch EV launched in India at Rs. 11 lakh

Leading automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has launched its new electric car Tata Punch EV in the Indian market. The company had already started its booking at a token amount of Rs 21,000.

This vehicle has been launched in 5 variants – Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered and Empowered+. It has the option of 5 dual-tone and 4 mono-tone colours.

Tata Punch EV has been launched at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh. In this, the price of long range model is Rs 14.49 lakh. This vehicle will compete with Mahindra XUV400 in the country.

TATA Punch EV: Powertrain

Tata Punch EV has been launched in the option of 2 battery packs. It has the option of first 25 kWh and second 35 kWh battery pack, which are capable of giving a range of 315 kilometres per charge and 421 kilometres per charge respectively.

It also has the option of 90 KW and 60 KW electric motor. Also, it has been provided with 2 charging options including 7.2 kW fast home charger with support for fast charger.

Talking about the look of Tata Punch EV, it has slim LED headlights, a closed grille, new alloy wheels, connected LED taillights and connected LED DRLs at the front.

It is built on the company’s Generation-2 pure EV platform ACTI-EV. This vehicle has got a premium look with a muscular bonnet.

In this, a glimpse of the front design of the recently launched Tata Nexon EV facelift can be seen.

Tata Punch EV has a comfortable 5-seater cabin. This vehicle will also have the facility of a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and automatic climate control.

Apart from this, there is also a twin-spoke steering wheel with Tata logo, wireless charger, sunroof, blind-spot monitor and 360-degree camera.

For safety, this vehicle has been provided with features like 6 airbags, traction control, hill assist and ESC.
