MG Motors has launched the 2024 model of Aster SUV in the Indian market. Many features have been added to 2024 MG Astor. The price of its new base variant Sprint has reduced by Rs 80,000 compared to earlier, making it the most affordable compact SUV in the country.
The 2024 model of Astor has been launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and Kia Seltos.
However, the company has not made any cosmetic or mechanical changes in the 2024 MG Astor. This vehicle will also be available in Shine, Select, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro variants.
2024 MG Astor: Features
The 2024 MG Astor gets a choice of one 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine (110ps/144Nm) and another 1.3-litre, turbo-petrol engine (140ps/220Nm) similar to the existing model. For transmission, the option of 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and CVT gearbox is given.
New features like ventilated front seats, auto dimming IRVM and a wireless phone charger have been added to the updated Astor. Additionally, the infotainment system has received a software update and now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with even more connected car tech features.
The latest car also gets the same features as the current model like a 10-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, 6-way powered driver seat and cruise control.
