Two-wheeler company Aprilia has officially launched the highly anticipated 2025 Aprilia SR 175 in India, with a starting price of Rs. 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
The new SR 175 is available in two striking colors: Matte Prismatic Dark and Glossy Tech White. These colors are inspired by Aprilia’s RS and Tuono series, adding a premium and youthful vibe to the scooter’s overall appearance.
This model replaces the SR 160 and comes equipped with an upgraded design, enhanced power, and advanced technology, making it one of the most exciting entries in the premium sporty scooter segment.

Design of 2025 Aprilia SR 175
2025 Aprilia SR 175 retains Aprilia’s aggressive styling with sharp body lines, a V-shaped LED headlamp, and sporty side panels. It has been equipped with 14-inch alloy wheels and features a single-sided swingarm, reminiscent of Ducati’s design cues.
The scooter measures approximately 1,985 mm in length, 740 mm in width, and 1,150 mm in height, with a seat height of 775 mm and kerb weight around 120–125 kg, offering a balanced stance for urban riders.
2025 Aprilia SR 175: Engine, Speed and Mileage
2025 Aprilia SR 175 has been equipped with 174.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 13.08 bhp at 7,200 rpm and 14.14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
For transmission this engine has been mated to a CVT automatic transmission, the scooter delivers a top speed of 95 km/h, making it one of the fastest in its class.
Despite its performance focus, the SR 175 offers a respectable real-world mileage of 38–42 km/l, supported by a 6-liter fuel tank.
2025 Aprilia SR 175: Tech Features
A major highlight of Aprilia SR 175 is 5.5-inch full-color TFT cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, replacing the older LCD unit. Here, riders can access navigation, call alerts, and ride stats via a dedicated app.
Additional features include LED lighting, USB charging port, and under-seat storage for a half-face helmet. Also, braking duties are handled by a 220mm front disc and a rear drum brake, backed by single-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Aprilia has equipped the SR 175 with a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock, tuned for sporty handling and urban agility. The setup ensures a firm yet composed ride, ideal for city commutes and weekend thrills. The wide tubeless tyres further enhance grip and stability across varied road conditions.

2025 Aprilia SR 175 has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.26 lakh, making it a compelling option in the premium sporty scooter segment. Interestingly, this undercuts the outgoing SR 160, which was priced around Rs 1.32 lakh, while offering more power and updated features.
SR 175 competes with a mix of performance-oriented and feature-rich scooters such as Yamaha Aerox 155, Suzuki Access 125, and Honda Activa 6G.
