Bajaj Auto has introduced the 2026 Bajaj Chetak C25 electric scooter in India with a starting price of Rs 91,399 (ex-showroom). This latest addition to the Chetak range features a few design changes that differentiate it from the bigger model.
In terms of styling, the scooter retains the same neo-retro look as the earlier version. It continues to get the signature horseshoe-shaped LED headlamp and a clean, simple front apron that gives it a minimalist feel.
The side panels remain largely unchanged but now come with fresh graphics, while the rear section has been updated with a new taillamp design.

Features of the 2026 Bajaj Chetak C25
2026 Bajaj Chetak C25 is the only electric scooter in India to feature a full metallic body. It offers 25 litres of under-seat storage and a long 650 mm seat for added comfort. Buyers can choose from six colour options—Racing Red, Misty Yellow, Ocean Teal, Active Black, Opalescent Silver, and Classic White.
The scooter comes with a colour LCD display and supports smartphone connectivity. This allows riders to access call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and music controls. It also features Hill Hold Assist, which helps the scooter climb steep roads, and Bajaj claims it can handle a 19 percent incline even with two riders.
Powering the Chetak C25 is a 2.5 kWh battery placed under the floorboard, paired with a 2.2 kW electric motor. It delivers a claimed range of 113 km on a single charge. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours and 25 minutes. With the supplied 750W off-board charger, a full charge from 0 to 100 percent takes less than 4 hours.
For suspension, the scooter gets a telescopic front fork and dual rear shock absorbers, while the electric motor is mounted in the hub.
