2027 Ducati Panigale V4 S Unveiled With 218hp: Design, Engine, Brakes and Price
Ducati has unveiled the 2027 Panigale V4 and 2027 Ducati Panigale V4 S in Europe with updates focused on engine performance, aerodynamics, chassis balance and rider control. The flagship superbikes retain the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, but revised intake, exhaust and lubrication systems increase the maximum output to 218hp.
Ducati has also introduced new electronic braking functions and revised the front frame to improve cornering performance. The Panigale V4 S continues to offer premium Öhlins electronic suspension and now joins Ducati’s Factory Made customisation programme.
European deliveries are scheduled to begin in March 2027, while the India launch timeline remains unconfirmed.

2027 Ducati Panigale V4 S: Design
The updated Panigale V4 retains its sharp, race-inspired bodywork, with revised front winglets as the most noticeable exterior change. Ducati has adopted a biplane winglet configuration with larger side endplates to refine aerodynamic performance at high speeds.
The motorcycle continues to feature an aggressive front fairing, compact tail section and sculpted fuel tank. Ducati has also revised the front frame to improve tyre grip and rider feedback when cornering at high lean angles. The Panigale V4 S offers additional personalisation through Ducati Factory Made, with 11 colour choices, two dedicated liveries and factory-fitted accessories.
2027 Ducati Panigale V4 S: Powertrain
Both the 2027 Ducati Panigale V4 and V4 S use a 1,103cc, liquid-cooled, 90-degree V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine. The updated powertrain produces 218hp at 13,500rpm and 120.6Nm of torque at 11,000rpm, delivering 2hp more than the previous version.
Ducati has revised the intake, exhaust and lubrication systems to improve high-rpm performance and reduce mechanical losses. The front air intake also delivers a claimed 0.6% increase in air pressure at 300km/h.
The six-speed gearbox features Ducati Quick Shift up/down 2.0, while revised final gearing and a higher rev limit help reduce gear changes on technical circuits. An optional Akrapovič racing exhaust can increase output to 229hp.
2027 Ducati Panigale V4 S: Suspension and Braking
Ducati has focused on improving braking control and corner entry with two new electronic functions: Dynamic Engine Brake and Race Brake Control. Dynamic Engine Brake replaces the earlier Engine Brake Control system and manages engine braking to improve stability during deceleration.
Race Brake Control helps optimise the rear wheel’s contribution to braking. Both variants retain Brembo Hypure monobloc front brake calipers with twin 330mm discs and Race eCBS. The standard Panigale V4 uses fully adjustable Showa front forks and a Sachs rear shock absorber.
The V4 S gets Öhlins NPX 25/30 front forks and a TTX36 rear shock with Smart EC 3.0 electronic adjustment. The V4 S weighs 187kg without fuel, compared with 191kg for the standard model.
2027 Ducati Panigale V4 S: Price
In the UK, the 2027 Ducati Panigale V4 starts at £25,495, while the V4 S costs £30,995. Indian prices and launch dates remain unconfirmed. Its key rivals include the BMW M 1000 RR, Aprilia RSV4 Factory and Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. European deliveries are scheduled to begin in March 2027.
