Citroen India is set to launch the Citroen Aircross X in the Indian market, and the SUV has already been teased ahead of its release. The company has also started accepting pre-bookings for this model.
The Aircross X is based on the standard Aircross and will include the enhancements associated with the ‘X’ designation. If you are interested in booking this model, you can do so by making a pre-booking with a token amount of Rs 11,000. This launch will follow the recent introduction of the Basalt X and the C3X.

Features of the Citroen Aircross X
In terms of design, the Citroen Aircross X will be based on the standard model of the Citroen Aircross, featuring LED lighting, daytime running lights (DRLs), and a muscular bonnet.
Additionally, it will showcase the ‘X’ badge on the tailgate. The SUV will also include new features such as cruise control and updated upholstery in the cabin. Reports suggest that the Aircross X will come equipped with a 360-degree camera and a wireless charger as added features.
Following the Citroen Basalt X, which includes the Cara AI assistant, it is anticipated that this feature may also be added to the upcoming Aircross X. It will support voice commands, provide access to vehicle information, and more.
On the safety front, the model is expected to offer six airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP as standard across all variants, ensuring enhanced protection and control.
Under the hood, the car will be powered by a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, buyers will have the option of a more powerful 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 110 hp, which will be available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Price and Availability of the Citroen Aircross X
The price and availability of the upcoming Aircross X will be announced during its launch. It is expected that this SUV will have a starting price of Rs 9 lakh and will compete with models such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate.
