Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift Teased; Bookings Officially Open Before Launch
Maruti Suzuki is actively working to launch the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift in the Indian market, and for the first time, the company has teased the upcoming SUV.
Interested customers can also book the new Brezza through the company’s official website by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.
The company will announce the official prices of the SUV at the time of its launch on 23rd July, 2026. So, let’s take a look at the expected design, features, powertrain, safety equipment, price, and everything else we know so far about this upcoming SUV.

Expected features of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift
The teaser doesn’t show many details, but it suggests that the car will keep its familiar design with a few visual updates. The facelift is expected to get a refreshed front and rear look, newly designed alloy wheels, and a few minor styling changes to give it a fresher appearance while retaining its overall design.
Spy shots and teaser images suggest a redesigned front grille with a fresh mesh pattern, sleeker LED headlamps featuring updated DRLs, and a more sculpted front bumper. At the rear, the compact SUV could get revised LED tail lamps connected by a stylish light bar, along with a redesigned bumper for a sportier look. Maruti is also expected to introduce a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels and fresh exterior colour options.
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift is expected to continue with the brand’s reliable 1.5-litre K-Series naturally aspirated petrol engine, which currently produces around 103 bhp and 137 Nm of torque. Buyers are likely to get both a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Maruti is also expected to retain the CNG variant, making the Brezza one of the few compact SUVs to offer a factory-fitted CNG option.
Inside, Brezza Facelift is expected to receive several updates aimed at making the cabin feel more premium and feature-rich. The dashboard layout is likely to remain familiar but could get new soft-touch materials, refreshed upholstery, and revised interior colour schemes.
The SUV is expected to continue with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, a head-up display, connected car technology, and a 360-degree camera.
The compact SUV is likely to continue offering six airbags as standard, along with Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Higher variants are expected to feature a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and front parking sensors.
While there has been no official confirmation, Maruti could also introduce select Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features to help the Brezza remain competitive in the increasingly safety-focused compact SUV segment.
Expected Price and Availability
Prices are expected to start from around Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and could go up to Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the fully loaded automatic version.
Once launched, the updated Brezza will continue to rival popular compact SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylaq, and Toyota Taisor in the highly competitive Indian market.
Is It Worth Waiting? (The Times of GenZ Opinion)
If you’re planning to buy a compact SUV in the next year, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift could be worth waiting for. The updated model is expected to offer a fresher exterior design, a more premium cabin, additional technology features, and improved safety equipment while retaining the reliable and fuel-efficient 1.5-litre petrol engine.
However, if you need a vehicle immediately, the current Brezza remains a well-rounded choice with proven reliability, low maintenance costs, and strong resale value. For buyers who want the latest styling and features, waiting for the facelift could be the better decision, provided Maruti launches it within the expected timeline.
