Renault Duster Adventure Edition Launched at Rs 12.99 Lakh

Renault has expanded the Duster lineup in India with the launch of the new Renault Duster Adventure Edition, priced from Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Rather than introducing mechanical upgrades, the French automaker has focused on giving its popular SUV a more adventurous appearance through exclusive cosmetic enhancements and premium accessories.

The special edition celebrates the Duster’s long-standing off-road legacy while offering buyers a more distinctive look without compromising the SUV’s proven performance, practicality, or feature-rich package.

Renault Duster Adventure Edition: Design and Dimensions

The Renault Duster Adventure Edition stands apart from the standard model with exclusive Adventure graphics inspired by topographical contour lines and the geographical coordinates of Leh, reinforcing its off-road image.

It also receives Adventure-themed body embellishers, special floor mats, 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, LED lighting, rugged body cladding and a bold front fascia.

Despite these visual upgrades, the SUV retains the same dimensions as the standard Duster, offering generous ground clearance, muscular proportions and a commanding road presence suitable for both city roads and weekend adventures.

Renault Duster Adventure Edition: Engine, Transmission and Mileage

Mechanically, Renault has left the Adventure Edition unchanged. Buyers can choose from the existing 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing around 100 hp and 160 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, or the more powerful 1.3-litre Turbo TCe 160 petrol engine generating approximately 163 hp and 280 Nm, available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

These engines continue to deliver a balanced mix of performance and fuel efficiency, making the Adventure Edition equally capable for daily commuting and highway touring.

Premium Cabin and Technology

Inside, the Adventure Edition retains the modern cabin introduced with the latest-generation Duster while adding exclusive Adventure-themed accessories.

Depending on the variant, buyers get a 10.1-inch OpenR Link infotainment system with Google built-in, a fully digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, automatic dual-zone climate control, wireless smartphone connectivity, premium upholstery, panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate and multiple USB charging ports.

The spacious interior, practical storage solutions and comfortable seating continue to make the Duster one of the more versatile SUVs in its segment.

Safety Features Remain Comprehensive

Renault has not compromised on safety with the Adventure Edition. The SUV continues with an extensive safety package that includes multiple airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, traction control, hill-start assist, hill descent control, blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera and several Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) depending on the variant.

The latest Duster platform has also been engineered with improved structural rigidity, helping it deliver strong occupant protection while maintaining its rugged credentials.

Renault Duster Adventure Edition: Why This Launch Matters

The Renault Duster Adventure Edition starts at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is positioned as a lifestyle-oriented special edition rather than a new variant.

It competes with popular midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and Honda Elevate.

This launch is significant because it strengthens the Duster’s adventure-focused identity, attracts buyers looking for a more distinctive SUV, and helps Renault maintain excitement around one of its most iconic nameplates without altering its proven mechanical package.
