New Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Spied With USD Forks and TFT Display: What We Know
Bajaj Auto appears to be preparing another update for the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. The upcoming motorcycle has been spotted testing with several new hardware and feature changes. The biggest update comes in the form of upside-down (USD) front forks, which replace the conventional telescopic setup seen on the current RS200.
The test bike also gets a new TFT instrument console, revised switchgear and adjustable brake and clutch levers. Bajaj has not announced the launch date yet, but the latest test mule suggests that the updated Pulsar RS200 could arrive soon.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Gets USD Front Forks
The biggest visible change on the new Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is the front suspension. The test motorcycle uses upside-down forks instead of the conventional telescopic forks available on the current model.
The USD setup could give the RS200 a more premium hardware package and improve its front-end response. However, Bajaj has not yet confirmed the specifications or tuning of these new forks.
The rear suspension continues with a monoshock setup. The test motorcycle also retains alloy wheels and disc brakes at both ends. The current RS200 uses a Nitrox monoshock, a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.

New TFT Display and Updated Switchgear
The upcoming Pulsar RS200 also gets a new TFT instrument cluster. The test bike shows a rectangular display with a large speed readout, gear-position indicator and bar-style tachometer.
Bajaj has also revised the handlebar controls. The left switchgear gets a directional control pad, while the right side features a dedicated hazard-light switch. The test bike also gets adjustable clutch and brake levers, allowing riders to adjust the lever reach.
A covered port sits next to the instrument console. This could provide USB charging, although Bajaj has not officially confirmed the feature yet.
Bajaj already offers TFT displays with navigation and connected functions on some newer Pulsar models. The updated RS200 could receive similar technology, but features such as turn-by-turn navigation, electronic throttle, additional ride modes and traction control remain unconfirmed at this stage.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Design
Despite the equipment changes, the test motorcycle retains the familiar full-faired design of the Pulsar RS200. The spy images show the twin-projector headlamp setup, raised windscreen and fairing-mounted mirrors.
The motorcycle also continues with angular side panels, split seats and separate pillion grab rails. The test bike features black bodywork with red graphics, while Pulsar branding remains visible on the fuel tank and Race Sport lettering continues on the fairing.
The rear section also retains the existing sporty layout with a tyre hugger and tail lamps positioned around the number plate area. Bajaj could introduce new graphics or colour options when it launches the updated motorcycle.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Engine and Performance
The updated Pulsar RS200 is expected to retain the existing 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The current motorcycle produces 24.5PS at 9,750rpm and 18.7Nm at 8,000rpm.
The engine works with a six-speed manual gearbox. Bajaj introduced the current RS200 with features such as three riding modes, dual-channel ABS and an assist-and-slipper clutch. The company has not announced any changes to the engine or gearbox for the upcoming version.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Price and Launch
The current Bajaj Pulsar RS200 carries an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs. 1,80,528, according to Bajaj Auto’s website. The updated motorcycle could command a higher price because of the new USD forks, TFT display and revised equipment, but Bajaj has not confirmed the new price yet.
Bajaj has also not announced an official launch date. The latest test mule indicates that the company is working on the update, while the final specifications and feature list should become clearer closer to the launch.
The updated Pulsar RS200 will continue to compete with motorcycles such as the Yamaha R15 V4 and Hero Karizma XMR.
