Bajaj Auto Two-Wheeler Exports Jump 50% in April-August 2026

Bajaj Auto has recorded strong growth in its two-wheeler exports during the first five months of FY2027. The company exported 11,00,827 two-wheelers between April and August 2026.

This marks a 50% increase from the 7,34,193 units shipped during the same period last year.

Entry-Level Bikes Drive Export Growth

Entry-level motorcycles have played a major role in Bajaj Auto’s export growth. The company exported 4,70,362 motorcycles in the 100-110cc segment during April-August. This was a 95% year-on-year increase.

The 110-125cc segment also recorded strong growth. Bajaj exported 3,04,191 motorcycles in this category, marking a 42% rise over the same period last year.

Together, the 100-125cc motorcycles accounted for around 71% of Bajaj’s motorcycle exports during the five-month period.

Latin America and Africa Boost Demand

Bajaj has seen strong demand from markets across Latin America and Africa. Brazil and Mexico have contributed to the growth in Latin America, while demand for models such as the Boxer 125 Heavy Duty has increased in Nigeria.

The company exported 10,96,009 motorcycles during April-August 2026. The remaining 4,818 units in its two-wheeler export figure came from the Chetak electric scooter.

Bajaj Targets Another Export Record

The latest numbers put Bajaj Auto on track for another strong export year. Its April-August two-wheeler exports already equal about 56% of the company’s record 19.6 lakh motorcycle exports achieved in FY2026.

Bajaj also exported 1,60,685 three-wheelers during the same period, up 48% year-on-year. Qute exports increased 206% to 5,202 units. Overall, Bajaj exported 12,66,714 vehicles across two-wheelers, three-wheelers and the Qute between April and August 2026, up 50% year-on-year.
