2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Launched at Rs. 1.60 Lakh: What’s New?
Bajaj Auto has launched the updated 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 in India at Rs. 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The latest version brings a major technology upgrade to the popular 200cc streetfighter without changing its core design.
The motorcycle now gets a 5-inch colour TFT display, ride-by-wire throttle, multiple ride modes, traction control and a bi-directional quickshifter. Bajaj has also upgraded the front suspension and rear tyre.
The engine continues with the familiar 199.5cc liquid-cooled unit, but power has increased slightly to 25.5hp. With these changes, the NS200 gets closer to newer rivals that offer more electronic features in the 200cc performance motorcycle segment.

2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Design
The updated Pulsar NS200 retains its familiar streetfighter design, including the muscular fuel tank, sharp body panels and exposed perimeter frame. Bajaj has not made major styling changes with this update, but the motorcycle gets new colour options and updated graphics.
The latest model is available in Ebony Black, Racing Red, Pearl Metallic White and Nardo Grey shades. The motorcycle continues with an underbelly exhaust and an aggressive riding stance. Its new 5-inch colour TFT display replaces the earlier LCD instrument console and gives the cockpit a more modern appearance.
The display also supports Google Maps mirroring. Adjustable levers, a hazard switch and a USB Type-C charging port add more convenience for everyday riding.
Bajaj Pulsar NS200: Powertrain
The updated Pulsar NS200 continues with the 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled petrol engine. Bajaj has increased its output to 25.5hp, up from 24.5hp in the earlier version. Peak torque remains at 18.7Nm. The engine works with a six-speed gearbox and now uses a ride-by-wire throttle. This electronic throttle enables multiple riding modes and traction control. The motorcycle also gets Bajaj’s bi-directional Sports Shifter, allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts.
The mechanical engine remains familiar, but the additional electronics improve the motorcycle’s overall technology package. The combination of a 200cc engine, six-speed transmission and quickshifter gives the NS200 a stronger focus on sporty road riding while retaining its everyday usability.

Suspension, Braking and Safety Features
Bajaj has upgraded the front suspension on the new NS200 with thicker 37mm upside-down forks, replacing the earlier 33mm units. The rear continues with a monoshock mounted to the perimeter-frame chassis. The motorcycle also gets a radial rear tyre for improved grip and stability. Braking hardware remains focused on strong stopping performance, while the updated electronics add traction control for additional rider assistance.
The NS200 also gets a panic brake alert that activates the hazard lights during hard braking. Other safety-focused equipment includes ABS, along with the electronic rider aids enabled by the ride-by-wire system. Adjustable levers, a hazard switch and Type-C charging further improve the motorcycle’s everyday usability.
