Simple Wave Electric Scooter Gets Rs. 10,000 Discount in India
Simple Energy has announced a Rs. 10,000 festive discount on select variants of its Wave electric scooter in India. The limited-period offer applies to the Simple Wave 3.7 kW TFT and Simple Wave 5 kW TFT versions. Buyers can use the benefit to reduce the effective ex-showroom price of these electric scooters during the festive season.
The offer is available in North and East India, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Simple Energy introduced the Wave in September 2026 as a family-focused electric scooter with a long seat and generous storage space.
The discount will remain valid until December 31, 2026, in eligible markets.
Simple Wave Festive Discount: New Prices Explained
Simple Energy has reduced the effective prices of two TFT-equipped Wave variants by Rs. 10,000. The Simple Wave 3.7 kW TFT carries an all-India ex-showroom price of Rs. 1,74,999. With the festive benefit, buyers in eligible markets can get it for Rs. 1,64,999.
The Simple Wave 5 kW TFT costs Rs. 1,89,999 before the offer, while the discount brings its effective price down to Rs. 1,79,999. The offer started on October 1 and will continue until December 31, 2026.
Customers can contact their nearest Simple Energy touchpoint to confirm availability and claim the benefit.
Simple Wave Features and Practicality
Simple Energy designed the Wave for everyday commuting and family use. The electric scooter gets a 920mm-long seat that provides space for the rider and pillion. It also offers 70 litres of total storage capacity, including under-seat storage and smaller compartments for everyday items.
The TFT-equipped variants add a colour display and connected technology. Buyers can choose from different versions depending on their performance and equipment requirements. The Wave range focuses on daily usability rather than only outright performance. Its long seat, practical storage and electric powertrain make it an option for commuters looking to switch from a conventional petrol scooter.
Simple Wave Battery, Range and Performance
The Simple Wave range offers different battery capacities to suit different commuting needs. The lineup includes 2.2kWh, 2.7kWh, 3.7kWh and 5kWh battery options, depending on the variant. Simple Energy claims an IDC range of up to 243km for the 5kWh Wave+ version.
The company also offers a 6.4kW electric motor across the range. Lower variants have a claimed top speed of 75kmph, while higher variants can reach 90kmph. The larger-battery versions also offer a Sport riding mode. These figures vary by variant, and buyers should check the specifications of the exact model they plan to purchase.
Simple Wave Discount Validity and Rivals
The Rs. 10,000 offer applies to the 3.7 kW TFT and 5 kW TFT variants in North and East India, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. It ends on December 31, 2026.
The Simple Wave competes in India’s electric scooter market against models such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta and Hero Vida range.
Buyers should confirm the final price and offer eligibility with a local Simple Energy touchpoint.
