Bajaj Auto, one of India’s leading two- and three-wheeler manufacturers, has released its sales report for May 2025, showcasing resilient domestic demand and consistent export performance despite industry-wide headwinds.
The Pune-based automaker reported total sales of 3,69,823 units for the month, registering a 1% year-on-year growth compared to May 2024. While the growth appears modest, Bajaj’s performance reflects stability in a market where competition and transition to electric mobility are intensifying.

Bajaj Auto Two-Wheeler Sales
Bajaj Auto’s core strength—two-wheelers—accounted for 3,15,732 units, showing flat growth year-on-year. The consistent demand for popular models like the Pulsar, Platina, and Dominar series helped Bajaj retain its strong position in the mid-range and commuter segments.
While other players are going full throttle on EVs, Bajaj is currently balancing traditional ICE offerings with its Chetak electric scooter, which continues to gain traction in urban markets.

Bajaj Auto Commercial Vehicles Sales
In the commercial vehicle space, Bajaj Auto registered 54,091 units in May 2025, marking a 4% increase over last year.
The uptick was driven by strong demand in semi-urban and rural areas, where Bajaj’s range of autorickshaws and cargo carriers remain in high demand.
Bajaj Auto: Exports
Bajaj Auto’s international strategy continued to deliver. The company exported 1,32,073 units, reflecting a 1% year-on-year growth.
Despite economic fluctuations in key African and Latin American markets, Bajaj’s consistent overseas performance highlights its strong dealer network and trusted brand presence.
