Bentley Torcal Revealed With 888hp, 600km Range; India Launch in 2027
Bentley Motors has officially revealed the Bentley Torcal, marking the 107-year-old British luxury carmaker’s transition into full electrification.
Serving as the brand’s fourth core model line alongside the Bentayga, Continental GT, and Flying Spur, the all-electric SUV sits on a dedicated EV architecture.
Handovers are scheduled to begin globally in early 2027, with an India launch officially reported for the second half of 2027.

Bentley Torcal: Dual Motors, PPE Architecture, and Rapid Charging
Underneath its bodywork, the Torcal utilizes the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) shared across select high-performance Volkswagen Group EVs. Dual permanent-magnet synchronous motors generate 810 hp in the standard trim, while the flagship S variant produces 876 hp (reported as 888 hp or 888 PS in European metric listings) and 1,350 Nm of torque.
Operating on an 800-volt electrical system with a 113 kWh (net) battery pack, the SUV delivers an officially claimed WLTP driving range of 600 km (375 miles). On a 400 kW DC fast charger, a 10-to-80 percent top-up takes 16 minutes.
Cabin Tech and Ultra-Luxury Craftsmanship
Measuring roughly five metres in length, the Torcal is 120 mm shorter and 50 mm lower than a standard Bentayga. Up front, it debuts an illuminated diamond-patterned crystal grille set behind a clear polycarbonate panel. Inside, Bentley retains knurled physical switches alongside a sweeping, curved OLED display.
High-tech cabin equipment includes radar-actuated automatic power doors, an augmented-reality head-up display, active chassis air suspension, and five-degree rear-wheel steering. Interior materials feature 100 percent Merino wool fabric developed with Fox Brothers alongside 1,000-layer Ombré Walnut veneers.
Pricing and Availability
In the UK, reported pricing for the Torcal starts at £173,330 (ex-showroom). For the Indian market, where the vehicle will arrive via the CBU import route in H2 2027, ex-showroom prices are expected to sit around Rs 4.5 crore due to customs duty structures. Production commences in early 2027 at Bentley’s Crewe facility in England.
