Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Build Your Dreams (BYD) is set to launch its third electric car, the BYD Seal sedan, in the Indian market on March 5. Prior to this, technical specifications of this car have been leaked. The India-spec model of the BYD Seal will come with a range of 570 kilometers.
Several dealerships have already started unofficially accepting bookings for this EV. It will compete with models like the Hyundai Ioniq-5, Kia EV6, and Volvo C40 Recharge.

BYD SEAL: Expected Features
The styling of the BYD Seal resembles a coupe, featuring an all-glass roof, flush-fitting door handles, 4 boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, split headlights, and a full-width LED light bar at the rear.
The latest car comes with a 15.6-inch infotainment display, a separate 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver, and a head-up display.

Additionally, it offers a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, ADAS, 9 airbags, a head-up display, and dual wireless charging pads.
The BYD Seal will be presented in a variant equipped with an 82.5kWh battery pack, which will be paired with a rear-mounted motor. It is capable of delivering 230bhp of power and 360Nm of torque.
This electric sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.9 seconds and will take 37 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.
It will be brought to India through the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route and could be priced around 50 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
