Honda Motorcycle has issued a recall for its Honda Africa Twin, specifically for models manufactured between 2019 and 2025. According to reports from NDTV, the recall is voluntary.
The company has not yet disclosed the exact number of affected motorcycles, but the issue involves a faulty harness wire located within the handlebars. This wire can bend frequently due to regular steering movements, which may lead to rusting at the wire connections.
As a result, electrical issues could arise. In some cases, this problem may also cause the horn and headlight switch, which is used to toggle between high and low beams, to malfunction.
Honda has stated that the affected motorcycles will be repaired at no cost to the owner at Honda’s BigWing dealerships starting in January 2026.

Honda Africa Twin previously recalled in November 2024 as well
For reference, it’s worth noting that the company has recalled the Honda Africa Twin previously as well. In November 2025, Honda recalled a certain number of units of this model due to a fault in the ECU (Engine Control Unit).
