Bike company Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched its new 160cc bike Honda Sp160 in India. It will be available in single and dual disc variant for the customers. This is the third 160cc bike in company’s lineup after Unicorn and X-Blade.
Honda SP160 single disc will be available at 1.17 lakhs and SP160 will be available at 1.21 lakhs (both price are ex-showroom).
Honda SP160: Looks
Honda has made this bike on diamond type frame. It comes with LED headlamp, alloy wheels, hazard lights and a digital instrument cluster that shows a plethora of information like fuel efficiency, side stand indicators, battery voltage, tachometer, odometer, battery voltage etc.
This bike is some where similar to the current SP125 available in the country. It has a muscular fuel tank with long single piece seat.

This Bike is Equipped with 162cc engine
Like the Honda Unicorn model, the Honda SP160 has been given a 162.7cc single cylinder fuel injected engine with BS6 Phase-II standards, which is capable of generating maximum power of 13.73bhp and torque of 14Nm.
For transmission, this engine has been paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
If reports are to be believed, this bike is capable of running at a top speed of around 120 kmph and will run around 40 km in one liter of petrol.
Honda SP160: Features
For the safety of the rider and to avoid skidding on the roads during braking, the Honda SP160 bike gets disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with a single-channel Anti Braking System (ABS).
Taking care of the suspension of the bike, it gets telescopic inverted forks at the front and a gas-charged mono-shock unit at the rear. The setup is comfortable and does not let the rider get tired during long rides.
