Hyundai Alcazar EV testing begin? Tata Harrier EV rival is coming

Hyundai Alcazar EV spotted during testing: After introducing Hyundai Creta EV in Indian market, South Korean car company Hyundai Motors is now working on its new 7-seater electric car. As per the report from the auto website gaadiwaadi Hyundai’s new EV has been spotted during testing on Indian road which could be the electric version of the Alcazar EV.

Since the car has been fully covered that’s why we don’t have exact information about the features of the car, But here is what we are expecting from this upcoming car.

What we are expecting from Hyundai Alcazar EV?

In terms of design the upcoming Hyundai Alcazar EV will be pretty much similar to its ICE version. Company can add closed front grille with all LED lighting setup, LED DRLs, Flush door handle and electrically adjustable ORVMs. Apart from this upcoming Hyundai Alcazar will be equipped with sporty bumper and muscular bonnet.

The cabin of this car will also be similar to its ICE version. This will be equipped with 7-seater cabin and fully digital driver display and digital infotainment screen, which will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

The powertrain of this upcoming car is currently unknown, but we are expecting that company will add powerful battery pack of 90kWh mated with electric motor. This powertrain will easily give range of 450-500 km per charge. Company will also introduce DC fast charging with this car.

The price and availability of upcoming Hyundai Alcazar EV will be announced at the time of its launch. As per the information company may launch this car at the starting price of Rs 20 lakh ex-showroom. Hyundai will launch this car in the Indian market in 2026.
