KIA Motors is working on its first ever KIA Pickup truck. Company is planning to launch KIA Tasman Pickup truck in upcoming months. Now this Pickup truck has been spotted during testing for the first time in the global market.
The spotted truck was heavily covered with the camouflaged. Some reports suggest that KIA is currently updating its portfolio in the Indian market, and we can expect that company will launch this truck in Indian market too but there is not any official information available about this truck.

Features of KIA Tasman Pickup
KIA Tasman Pickup truck will be equipped with 2.2-litre CRDi four-cylinder turbocharged engine. This engine is capable of generating maximum power of 175 to 200 Hp. Company can also give option of 3.0-litre diesel engine in it which generates max power of 260 Hp.
For transmission there will be option of Manual and Automatic gearbox in it.
The design of the KIA Tasman Pickup will be not very much different for the other model of the KIA family. It’s some features will be copied from the KIA EV9. It has a muscular bonnet with all LED lighting setup.
This truck has a 5-seater cabin with digital instrument console and infotainment system which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. To enhance the safety of the passengers ADAS suite may be also available in this Truck.
The Expected price of KIA Tasman Pickup is Rs 35 lakh. In India it will rivals against the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-max.
