New TVS iQube With Android Auto Unveiled at EICMA 2026: Features, Powertrain and Rivals
TVS Motor Company has showcased an updated version of the TVS iQube electric scooter at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. The biggest highlight of the new TVS iQube is the addition of Android Auto connectivity through a partnership with Google.
The new technology will allow riders to access supported smartphone applications directly through the scooter’s touchscreen instrument cluster.
The company has confirmed that the feature will arrive on the iQube, although it has not announced the India launch timeline or supported variants. The update will strengthen the scooter’s technology package without requiring a major mechanical change.

New TVS iQube: Design and Features
The new TVS iQube retains the familiar design of the existing electric scooter. The major update comes in the form of its 7-inch touchscreen instrument cluster, which will now support Android Auto.
The display already provides access to several vehicle-related details, including battery state of charge, estimated riding range, trip information and speed. With Android Auto integration, riders will get a familiar smartphone connectivity interface on the scooter’s screen. The new system will allow access to supported applications through the display.
However, TVS has not confirmed whether the Android Auto connection will support wireless or wired connectivity.
TVS iQube: Powertrain and Battery Details
TVS has not announced any changes to the iQube’s electric powertrain alongside the Android Auto update. The existing Indian model comes with multiple battery options, depending on the variant.
These include 2.3kWh, 3.1kWh and 3.5kWh battery packs. The top speed reaches up to 82kmph on selected variants, while the claimed riding range varies with the battery configuration.
The larger battery options offer a higher claimed range for customers who regularly travel longer distances. TVS has also not disclosed whether the Android Auto-equipped version will receive any battery or motor upgrades.
TVS iQube: Brakes and Suspension
The existing TVS iQube uses telescopic front forks and a hydraulic twin-tube shock absorber at the rear. This suspension setup aims to provide a comfortable ride on city roads and uneven surfaces.
For braking, the electric scooter gets a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. It also rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres at both ends.
TVS has not announced any changes to the braking hardware, suspension setup or wheel specifications with the Android Auto update. Therefore, the new version is expected to retain the existing mechanical setup, although final specifications remain unconfirmed.
TVS iQube: Price and Rivals
The existing TVS iQube range starts at around Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant. TVS has not announced separate pricing for the Android Auto-equipped version.
Its key rivals include the Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, Ola S1 range and Hero Vida electric scooters.
