In April 2025, TVS Motors reported robust sales figures, continuing its upward trajectory in the two-wheeler and electric vehicle (EV) markets.
The company achieved total sales of 383,615 units in April 2025, marking a significant 25% increase compared to 306,224 units sold in April 2024.
Two-Wheeler Segment Performance of TVS Motors
- Total Two-Wheeler Sales: TVS sold 374,592 units, a 27% growth from 294,786 units in April 2024.
- Domestic Two-Wheeler Sales: The domestic market saw a 29% increase, with 301,449 units sold compared to 232,956 units in the same month last year.
- Motorcycles: Sales rose by 24%, reaching 188,110 units from 152,365 units in April 2024.
- Scooters: Experiencing a 34% surge, scooter sales totaled 144,126 units, up from 107,496 units in April 2024.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Sales Of TVS Motors
TVS’s electric vehicle segment demonstrated remarkable growth, with sales increasing to 17,403 units in April 2025, a substantial rise from 6,227 units in April 2024.

Three-Wheeler Sales
Contrasting the growth in other segments, three-wheeler sales declined to 9,023 units in April 2025, down from 11,438 units in the same month the previous year.
TVS Motor Company’s performance in April 2025 underscores its strong position in the two-wheeler and EV markets, driven by significant growth in domestic sales and the expanding electric vehicle segment. The decline in three-wheeler sales presents an area for strategic reassessment.
