Car maker Volkswagen has showcased the new generation of Volkswagen Tiguan Hybrid R-Line at the IAA Mobility event held in Munich Automobile Show in Germany. The SUV is longer and taller than its outgoing model and it also offers more cargo space and better controls.

The is now equipped with more comfort features. The company aims to attract more customers towards this vehicle.
The 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan will hit the market next year with the same engines as the new Passat, Skoda Superb and Kodiaq.

The 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan Hybrid R-line will be longer than the current model and its wheelbase will be around 2681mm. Due to its larger size, it will provide additional headroom for front and rear passengers. Now its boot space has also been increased to 33 litres, so that more luggage can be kept in it.

Recently, in response to customer criticism, the carmaker has replaced the touch-based buttons with the old button controls on the steering wheel.

Volkswagen Tiguan Hybrid R-Line: Cabin

The new Volkswagen Tiguan will get a 1.5-litre eTSI Evo2 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, which will be mated to electric motors. It will be capable of generating combined power of 201hp.

It will have an 18.5kWh lithium-ion battery, which will be capable of providing an electric range of 100 kilometers.
Additionally, optional ergoactive seats will be available for the driver and front passenger, which will have heating, ventilation and massage functions.

The third generation SUV will be produced in Wolfsburg, Germany. Its price will be around 35 lakhs.
