Top Electric Cars launched in India in 2023: The Indian EV market is growing rapidly in the last few years in India. That’s why every automobile company is planning to launch its Electric car in domestic market, while many models are still in pipeline to launch.
Car company like Mahindra & Mahindra to foreign company like Audi, Volvo and MG motors have also launched their electric vehicles these year.
On the World EV Day, we have brought for you a list of some powerful electric vehicles launched in the country this year.

Top Electric Cars launched in India in 2023- MG Comet EV: Price starts at Rs 7.98 lakhs.

Expanding its portfolio in the Indian market, MG Motors launched its two-door electric vehicle MG Comet in April 2023.

This car is very small in size as compared to the SUV available in the country. Because of this, it will be easier to drive or park in traffic and city.

This vehicle is 2974 mm in length. The all new MG comet EV has a 17.3 kWh battery pack and single electric motor. This vehicle is capable of giving a range of 230 kilometers in a full charge.

Citroen eC3: Prices starts at Rs 11.50 lakhs.

This year, Citroen has also launched its Citroen C3 hatchback car in electric variant in India. The company has named it as a Citroen eC3. This electric vehicle has been launched in two trims, Live and Feel.
It has a non-removable battery pack and will be able to cover a distance of 320 kilometers in a single charge. This vehicle also has a 10-inch infotainment system for the entertainment of passengers.

Mahindra XUV400: Price starts at Rs 15.99 lakhs.

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its all electric vehicle Mahindra XUV400 in the country in the month of January in 2023.
The electric car has a muscular bonnet, swept-back LED headlights, boomerang-shaped DRLs, wide air dams, a raked windscreen, a closed grille with copper-finished inserts and a new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo.
This vehicle has been launched in two variants EC and EL. It has the capability of giving a range of 456 kilometers in a full charge.

Hyundai IONIQ 5: Price starts at Rs. 44.95 lakhs

TheΒ Hyundai‘sΒ  all new Ioniq 5 electric car is design on a “Parametric Dynamics” philosophy and flaunts LED headlamps with squared DRLs, a sleek black grille, pixelated LED tail-lights, and 20-inch wheels.

Its cabin contains upholstery with a glass roof, an 8-speaker Bose audio system and a dual 12.25-inch screen setup.

The electric car has a packs of an electric motor, which generates power of around 214.5 hp and a 350 Nm of a peak torque. This motor is mated with a 72.6 kWh battery pack.Β  In full charge its promises a range of 631 kilometer in a single charge.

Volvo C40 Recharge: Price starts at Rs 61.25 lakhs.

Swedish car company Volvo has launched its all new electric vehicle Volvo C40 Recharge in the Indian market. This is the company’s second electric vehicle in the country.

It has a 78 kWh battery pack and two 150 kW electric motors. After full charge, this car can run up to 535 kilometers in full charge.
This vehicle is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Its top speed is around 180 km/h.

Audi Q8 e-tron: Price starts at Rs 1.14 crore.

Last month, Audi India has launched its new Audi Q8 e-tron electric SUV and Sportback in India. The company has also started its booking at a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.

This electric car also has 2 touchscreen units with a 10.1-inch infotainment system and 8-inch driver display. This vehicle has been introduced in 2 specs – 50 and 55, in which battery pack of 95kW to 114kW has been added respectively.

It gives a maximum range of up to 600 kilometers on a single charge.

BMW i7: Price starts at 1.95 crore.

At earlier this month Premium car company BMW has launched its all new electric car BMW i7 in Indian Market. This is the company’s most expensive car in the country. This car is equipped with 101.7 kWh battery pack, which offers more than 625 km range in full charge.

This setup is capable of generating power of 537 bhp power and 745 Nm of peak torque. It is also capable of running with All Wheel Drive System (AWD). As per the highlight this car gets 14.9-inch infotainment system at the center and 12.3-inch driver digital display and 4-zone climate control. For the passenger safety this car is equipped with the 7 airbags, electronic parking brakes, 360-degree camera and electric parking brake.
