Volkswagen has officially revealed the all-new Volkswagen Tukan pickup at the famous Barretos Rodeo Festival in Brazil. Tailored specifically for Brazil and broader Latin American markets, this new Volkswagen pickup will be sold in flexible single-cab and double-cab versions.
Expected to hit dealerships in the first half of 2027, the Tukan marks a crucial expansion of Volkswagen’s utility lineup in the region.

The Tukan pickup Brazil showcase highlights a muscular front fascia featuring an upright stance, sleek headlamps, connected top LED DRLs, and a wide black grille.
Along the sides, squared-off wheel arches, durable body cladding, side steps, and bold alloy wheels enhance its tough appeal. At the rear, it features vertical tail lamps, prominent TUKAN lettering across the tailgate, and a convenient stepped bumper for easy bed loading.

Underneath, the 2027 Volkswagen Tukan is the German brand’s first utility truck underpinned by the flexible MQB architecture. To handle heavy payloads and tough terrain, it uses a robust rigid rear axle equipped with traditional leaf springs, ensuring practical load capacity and structural durability.
