Volvo has officially confirmed that its Volvo EX30 electric SUV is coming to India, with a teaser already out. The EX30 will be the brand’s smallest all-electric premium SUV and will be positioned as an entry-level offering in the company’s EV lineup.
Already on sale in global markets, the SUV will make its way to India through the completely knocked-down (CKD) route. In the brand hierarchy, it will sit below the EC40 and EX40.
Once launched, the Volvo EX30 will go up against rivals like the BMW iX1 LWB, Mercedes-Benz EQA, BYD Sealion 7, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
So, lets know what are the features available in this upcoming car.

What are we expecting from Volvo EX30?
The Volvo EX30 is based on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform and is 4.23 meters long, making it about 20 cm shorter than the XC40 Recharge.
Even with its compact size, the SUV offers good cabin space thanks to its long wheelbase. On the outside, it gets a closed grille with the Volvo logo, Thor’s Hammer-style DRLs, sleek LED headlamps, and tail lamps that stretch up to the C-pillar, giving it a stylish and modern look.

Inside, the EX30 comes with a clean, button-free dashboard that features a 12.3-inch vertical touchscreen. This screen handles everything from climate control to navigation and entertainment.
The system, developed with Google, supports apps like Google Maps, Spotify, and YouTube. Instead of a regular driver display, all information is shown on the central screen. The steering wheel also has a flat top and bottom design, adding to its futuristic feel.

The Volvo EX30 will be offered in three configurations. The single-motor standard-range version comes with a 51 kWh LFP battery, delivering a range of up to 344 km. A larger 69 kWh battery paired with a single motor increases the range to around 480 km, while the dual-motor version offers up to 460 km on a full charge.
Thanks to fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just about 25 minutes.
