Mercedes-Benz, a luxury car manufacturer, has teased the launch of the updated 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS before its release. This upscale electric sedan will now feature two grille choices: a fresh panel grille and a conventional one.

This decision is purportedly made to revamp its look amid declining sales of its flagship EV. The iconic star logo will be placed either on the bonnet or seamlessly integrated into the surface.

The price of the electric car is expected to start at more than 1.62 crore rupees (ex-showroom), competing with the BMW i7 electric car.

Expected features of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS

In the updated version of the Mercedes-Benz EQS, a revamped battery with new chemistry will be incorporated to enhance its range.

The new battery, ranging from 108kWh to 118kWh like the EQS SUV, will extend the EQS sedan’s range to approximately 800 kilometers. Following its release in foreign markets, it will be introduced to the Indian market.

The CEO of the company, Ola KΓ€llenius, mentioned regarding the placement of the star logo, “Some customers may opt for a sportier appearance and wish to integrate the star into the panel, while others may prefer a design reminiscent of older models.”

The upcoming latest car will feature a grille similar to the one utilized in the S-Class.

Additionally, the facelifted EQS will offer the option of executive seats, with the possibility of transforming the rear bench into two individual seats.
