India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has rolled out an update for its biggest Pulsar yet 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z. Launched just a year ago, the flagship streetfighter has received meaningful improvements for 2025 based on customer and media feedback.
The updated model has already started arriving at dealerships, and while the visual design remains largely unchanged, mechanical enhancements and safety upgrades set the new version apart.
So, Lets Know about this bike in detail.

What’s New in the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z?
While the 2025 NS400Z looks nearly identical to its predecessor in terms of body panels, color schemes, and graphics, Bajaj has focused on improving grip, braking, and compliance with emission norms.
Wider Rear Tyre for Enhanced Grip
One of the most notable upgrades is the wider rear tyre. The tyre section has been increased from 140mm to 150mm, now featuring Apollo Alpha H1 radial tyres in place of the earlier MRF REVZ-S. This change promises better traction, improved cornering grip, and more confidence for aggressive riders.
Improved Braking with Sintered Pads
To boost braking performance, Bajaj has replaced the earlier organic brake pads with sintered brake pads, offering sharper bite and better heat resistance—particularly useful during high-speed riding or spirited braking.
2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z: Engine
2025 NS400Z retains its 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing around 40 bhp and 35 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. However, Bajaj has updated the engine to meet the latest BS6 Phase-2 (OBD2B) emission standards, ensuring it’s future-ready and eco-friendly.

Why this bike matters?
Bajaj has smartly refined the Pulsar NS400Z without altering its core DNA. By addressing real-world rider feedback—like tyre grip and braking power—the company has shown a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
With these updates, the Pulsar NS400Z remains a compelling choice for enthusiasts looking for a powerful, value-packed streetfighter under ₹2 lakh.
