Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to unveil the updated 2026 Maruti Brezza on July 23, giving one of India’s best-selling compact SUVs a comprehensive mid-cycle refresh.
While the overall silhouette is expected to remain familiar, the facelift is likely to bring sharper styling, a feature-rich cabin, improved safety technology and, most importantly, a new turbo-petrol engine option.
These updates are aimed at helping the Brezza stay competitive against rivals such as the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue and Skoda Kylaq.

Spy shots indicate that Maruti Suzuki will adopt an evolutionary design approach rather than a complete overhaul. The 2026 Brezza is expected to feature a redesigned front bumper, a revised grille, updated LED headlamps with a new DRL signature, refreshed alloy wheels and fresh exterior paint options.
Minor revisions to the rear bumper and tail lamps are also anticipated. These cosmetic changes should give the SUV a more premium and contemporary appearance while retaining the boxy proportions that have made the Brezza popular among Indian buyers.
2026 Maruti Brezza: Expected Powertrain
The biggest mechanical update could be the addition of Maruti Suzuki’s new 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine, offering stronger performance than the existing naturally aspirated unit.
