2026 Triumph Daytona 660 Launched in India: What’s New?

Triumph has launched the updated 2026 Triumph Daytona 660 in India at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model costs Rs. 11,000 more than the previous version, but Triumph has added several important upgrades.

The biggest changes include adjustable front suspension, new Metzeler tyres and a standard quickshifter. The motorcycle continues with the same 660cc three-cylinder engine and six-speed gearbox.

Triumph has also introduced new colour options for the 2026 model. These updates give the Daytona 660 a more focused sports bike setup without major mechanical changes.

2026 Triumph Daytona 660 Design and Features

The overall design of the Daytona 660 remains largely unchanged. However, Triumph has introduced three new colour options for the 2026 model. These include Aluminium Silver with Sapphire Black graphics, Cosmic Yellow with Sapphire Black highlights and Sapphire Black.

The biggest update comes to the front suspension. The motorcycle now gets a 41mm Showa upside-down fork with compression and rebound adjustment. The front suspension continues to offer 110mm of wheel travel, while the rear Showa monoshock gets preload adjustment and 130mm of travel.

Triumph has also replaced the earlier Michelin Power 6 tyres with Metzeler M9RR tyres. Another major addition is the bi-directional quickshifter, which now comes as standard. The previous model offered this feature as an optional extra.

Triumph Daytona 660 Engine

The 2026 Daytona 660 continues with the same 660cc, inline three-cylinder petrol engine. It produces 95 PS of maximum power and 68 Nm of peak torque. Triumph pairs the engine with a six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle also retains its steel perimeter frame and twin front disc brakes with radial callipers. The company has focused on improving the suspension and equipment rather than changing the engine or chassis.

2026 Triumph Daytona 660 Price and Rivals

Triumph has priced the 2026 Daytona 660 at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals bikes such as the Kawasaki Ninja 650, Suzuki GSX-8R and Honda CBR650R in India. The updated model costs only Rs. 11,000 more than its predecessor.
