2026 Triumph Daytona 660 vs Kawasaki Ninja 650: The 2026 Triumph Daytona 660 has arrived in India with updated suspension, new tyres and a standard quickshifter. Triumph prices the updated sport bike at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kawasaki Ninja 650, meanwhile, continues as one of the more affordable middleweight fully-faired motorcycles in India, with the 2026 model priced at Rs. 7.91 lakh.

Both motorcycles use twin-disc front brakes, six-speed gearboxes and sporty riding positions, but their engines and equipment differ. Here is a detailed comparison of the Daytona 660 and Ninja 650.

Triumph Daytona 660 vs Kawasaki Ninja 650: Engine

The Triumph Daytona 660 uses a 660cc, three-cylinder engine that produces 95hp and 68Nm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox and gives the motorcycle a strong performance-focused character. The 2026 model retains the same engine as the previous version.

The Kawasaki Ninja 650 gets a 649cc, parallel-twin engine. It produces around 67.3bhp and 64Nm and also uses a six-speed gearbox. The Ninja 650 therefore focuses on a smoother twin-cylinder riding experience rather than matching the Daytona’s peak power output.

Features and Hardware

The 2026 Daytona 660 gets a 41mm Showa upside-down fork with compression and rebound adjustment. Triumph has also added a bi-directional quickshifter as standard and fitted Metzeler M9 RR tyres. The rear monoshock gets preload adjustment.

The Ninja 650 uses a 41mm telescopic front fork and a horizontal back-link rear suspension with preload adjustment. It also gets an assist and slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS and twin front disc brakes.

The Kawasaki Ninja 650 costs Rs. 7.91 lakh, while Triumph prices the 2026 Daytona 660 at Rs. 9.99 lakh. This creates a price difference of Rs. 2.08 lakh. The Daytona also gets a 14-litre fuel tank, while the Ninja 650 gets a 15-litre tank.

For buyers comparing these two motorcycles, the Daytona 660 offers higher peak power and more adjustable front suspension, while the Ninja 650 comes at a significantly lower price.
