Honda QC3 Launched in India at Rs. 1.35 Lakh: 145km Range and Features
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the new QC3 electric scooter in India at Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new electric scooter targets family buyers and daily city riders.
It becomes Honda’s third electric scooter in India after the QC1 and Activa e:. The QC3 gets a larger battery, longer claimed range and more practical features than Honda’s earlier electric models.
Honda will initially sell the scooter in five cities through its RedWing dealership network.
Honda QC3: Design and Features
The Honda QC3 follows a simple and practical family-scooter design. It gets LED lighting and a large floorboard for everyday use. Honda offers the electric scooter in four colours: Matt Photon Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue.
The scooter gets a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with Honda RoadSync connectivity. The system supports turn-by-turn navigation and smartphone-related functions. It also gets a Smart Key and USB charging support. One of its biggest practical highlights is the 32-litre under-seat storage space, which gives riders enough room for daily essentials.
Battery, Range and Charging
The QC3 uses a 3kWh fixed battery pack. Honda claims an IDC range of up to 145km on a full charge, making it the longest-range electric scooter in Honda’s India lineup based on the launch specification. The battery takes around 2 hours and 40 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent, while a full charge takes around four hours.
Honda QC3: Price and Rivals
Honda has priced the QC3 at Rs. 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It rivals electric scooters such as the TVS iQube 3.1kWh, Bajaj Chetak C3502, Vida VX2 Plus and Ather Konark S. Bookings have opened for Rs. 5,000 in the initial cities through Honda’s website and RedWing dealerships.
