2027 Kawasaki Z1100 Launched in India at Rs. 12.79 Lakh: Check Features and Specs
Kawasaki has launched the 2027 Kawasaki Z1100 in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 12.79 lakh. The new model-year motorcycle reaches Indian dealerships without any major changes over the 2026 version.
Kawasaki has retained the same engine, chassis, suspension, electronics and styling. Bookings and deliveries have started across India. The Z1100 continues as Kawasaki’s flagship naturally aspirated super naked motorcycle in the country.
It replaces the earlier Z1000 and shares its engine and several mechanical components with the Ninja 1100SX. The motorcycle continues with a single Ebony and Metallic Carbon Grey colour option.

2027 Kawasaki Z1100: Design
The 2027 Z1100 retains Kawasaki’s aggressive Sugomi-inspired design. The motorcycle features a sharp front profile, muscular fuel tank and compact tail section. Kawasaki has carried forward the same bodywork from the previous model year.
The bike gets a distinctive LED headlight, sculpted tank extensions and a sharp rear section. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with 120/70-section front and 190/50-section rear tyres. The Z1100 also uses a 17-litre fuel tank and has a kerb weight of around 220kg. Kawasaki has not introduced a new colour or visual update for the 2027 model.
Engine and Performance
The Kawasaki Z1100 continues with a 1,099cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four petrol engine. The motor produces 136hp at 9,000rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 7,600rpm. A six-speed gearbox sends power to the rear wheel.
Kawasaki also offers a bi-directional quickshifter with the motorcycle. The Z1100 uses a tubular diamond frame and gets a 41mm upside-down front fork with adjustable compression and rebound damping. The rear uses a back-linkage monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping.
For braking, the motorcycle gets dual 310mm front discs with Brembo hardware and a 260mm rear disc.
Features and Safety
The 2027 Kawasaki Z1100 gets a 5-inch colour TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. The electronics package includes a six-axis IMU, cornering ABS and three levels of traction control. Kawasaki also offers cruise control and multiple riding modes.
The motorcycle gets LED lighting and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. The electronic rider aids help manage the motorcycle’s strong performance in different riding conditions. Kawasaki has not added any new technology for the 2027 model year, so the equipment list remains identical to the 2026 motorcycle.
Price and Rivals in India
Kawasaki has priced the 2027 Z1100 at Rs. 12.79 lakh ex-showroom in India. The price remains unchanged from the previous model. Its main rival is the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP, which costs Rs. 13.29 lakh. The smaller Kawasaki Z900 sits below it at Rs. 9.99 lakh.
