BMW F 450 GS Price Hiked by Up to Rs 30,000 in India
BMW Motorrad has increased the price of the BMW F 450 GS in India by up to ₹30,000. The latest revision affects all three variants of the adventure motorcycle, with the top-spec GS Trophy receiving the biggest hike.
The BMW F 450 GS was launched in India earlier this year as the brand’s more accessible twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle. It combines a compact design with a 420cc parallel-twin engine and off-road-focused hardware.
After the latest revision, the motorcycle now starts at Rs 4.95 lakh, while the range-topping GS Trophy costs Rs 5.60 lakh, ex-showroom.
BMW F 450 GS: What’s New?
There are no mechanical or feature changes with this latest update. BMW has only revised the prices of the F 450 GS range. The Base variant is now ₹25,000 more expensive, while the Exclusive variant also gets a Rs 25,000 increase. The GS Trophy sees the highest hike of Rs 30,000.
The motorcycle continues to use a 420cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. It produces 47.6PS and 43Nm and comes with a six-speed gearbox. BMW uses a steel tube frame, while the motorcycle gets a 21-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel for its adventure-focused setup.
The F 450 GS also offers a 6.5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, lean-sensitive ABS, traction control and multiple riding modes. The Exclusive variant adds a quickshifter, Enduro Pro riding mode, off-road footrests and hand protection. The GS Trophy further adds upgraded suspension, an aluminium engine guard, rally-style windscreen and other off-road-focused equipment.
Price and Rivals
The BMW F 450 GS now costs Rs 4.95 lakh for the Base, Rs 5.15 lakh for the Exclusive and Rs 5.60 lakh for the GS Trophy, ex-showroom. Its rivals include the KTM 390 Adventure, Triumph Scrambler 400 X and Honda NX500, depending on variant and buyer preference.
