The prominent electric vehicle producer Build Your Dreams (BYD) has revealed its inaugural electric supercar BYD YangWang U9. This high-performance electric vehicle will be introduced in global markets following its debut in China.
This supercar has a top speed of 309.19 km/h and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.36 seconds, the YangWang U9 is poised to compete with supercars manufactured by companies such as Ferrari and Lamborghini.

BYD YangWang U9: Features
Speaking of design BYD YangWang U9 appears as a futuristic supercar with gullwing doors. It is a 2-seater car, with dimensions of 4,966mm in length, 2,029mm in width, 1,295mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,900mm.
It features sleek LED headlights and a large front grille on its sharp fascia, while 20-inch alloy wheels give it an attractive look.
To enhance aerodynamics and reduce drag coefficient, the supercar is equipped with a sophisticated active and passive aerodynamic package, aimed at minimizing heating.
The Yangtze U9 is equipped with 4 electric motors, each generating 240kW, and collectively producing a power of 960kW. It utilizes BYD’s blade battery technology, which supports ultra-fast charging of up to 500kW, along with aiding rapid cooling.
It can charge from 30% to 80% in just 10 minutes. The supercar offers a range of up to 450 kilometers on a single charge.
BYD YangWang U9 is priced at approximately 1.68 million yuan (around 2 crore rupees). There is a high chance that company will launch this supercar in India.
