Dodge Mopar ’27 Charger Unveiled for 90th Anniversary: Limited to 270 Units

Dodge has unveiled the special-edition Dodge Mopar ’27 Charger to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Mopar, its performance parts and customisation brand. The limited-edition package will be available on the 2027 Dodge Charger R/T and Charger Scat Pack Plus two-door models.

The special edition brings exclusive carbon-fibre body components, distinctive graphics and anniversary-specific badges. Dodge will produce only 270 units worldwide, with 90 examples in each of three exterior colours.

The Mopar ’27 Charger will make its public debut at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas from November 3 to 6. Dealer orders will open in early January 2027, with production scheduled to begin in spring 2027.

Dodge Mopar ’27 Charger: Design and Exterior

The Mopar ’27 Dodge Charger receives several exterior upgrades that distinguish it from the standard muscle car. The package adds a Direct Connection carbon-fibre front splitter, a carbon-fibre bonnet with a functional air scoop and a carbon-fibre rear spoiler.

Buyers also get exclusive bonnet and side-body graphics. The special edition will be available in Bludicrous, Diamond Black and White Knuckle paint options, with 90 units allocated to each colour.

A numbered Mopar ’27 and 90th-anniversary plaque sits under the bonnet, while a unique badge appears on the dashboard. Each buyer will also receive a personalised certificate of authenticity and a special illustration from the Mopar design team.

Engine and Performance

The Mopar ’27 package will be offered with two engine options, depending on the chosen Charger variant. The Charger R/T uses a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged SIXPACK inline-six engine that produces 420hp. It comes with all-wheel drive and an on-demand rear-wheel-drive mode, allowing acceleration from 0 to 60mph in 4.6 seconds.

The Scat Pack Plus produces 550hp from the same 3.0-litre engine, with forged internals and larger Garrett turbochargers. It can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 3.9 seconds.

Both versions retain their standard power outputs, as the Mopar ’27 package focuses on styling and factory-backed personalisation rather than additional engine performance.

Features and Special Equipment

Apart from the carbon-fibre exterior components, the Mopar ’27 Charger gets exclusive anniversary detailing and a numbered identification plaque. The Scat Pack Plus configuration also includes leather performance seats, 20-inch wheels, the Carbon and Suede package and the Blacktop package.

Buyers will receive a special owner kit with vehicle-specific documentation. Mopar will also display additional performance accessories at SEMA, including a cat-back exhaust system, performance suspension springs and 21-inch Brass Monkey wheels. These components will be sold separately and do not form part of the standard Mopar ’27 package.
