In a proud moment for Indian automotive engineering, the Maruti eVitara, India’s first mass-produced electric SUV has been showcased at Japan’s Hamamatsu Station.

Let us tell you that the showcased model has been built at Maruti’s Gujarat plant with futuristic electric tech.

Its global debut not only highlights India’s growing EV prowess but also marks a bold step in Suzuki’s electrification journey proving that “Make in India” is ready to drive the world.

Expected Features of Maruti eVitara

The all-new Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will feature a fresh design and will be built on the company’s new electric platform. This car will come equipped with an all-LED lighting setup and a redesigned set of alloy wheels.

The e-Vitara will have a body-colored closed front grille with a black air intake in the lower bumper. Additionally, the charging point will be conveniently located above the front tires. Globally, this model will be offered with two battery pack options and a choice of two electric motors.

We expect the same configuration for the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara set to be launched in India. The anticipated range of the e-Vitara is expected to be between 400 and 500 kilometers per charge.

Maruti eVitara: Safety Features

Safety features include 7 standard airbags, a reinforced EV architecture, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in top variants. The infotainment system offers a Harman Infinity sound system, Suzuki Connect, and remote access features.

Maruti eVitara: Price and Availability

The price and availability of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will be announced at the time of its launch. We expect that the company will price this car between ₹20 lakh and ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom).

The e-Vitara will compete with models such as the Mahindra XUV400, Hyundai Creta EV, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, and MG ZS EV in its segment.
