Mahindra Scorpio-N: Vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra is working on a new pickup truck, which will be based on the Mahindra Scorpio-N.
Some time back its concept model has been spotted during testing. Mahindra can introduce it in South Africa on 15th August.
As per reports of Autocar India, it is currently codenamed Z121 and could go on sale by 2025.

Mahindra Scorpio-N Pickup truck: Look
The Mahindra Scorpio-N pickup truck could get a boxy look, with a redesigned grille with vertical slats, a muscular bonnet, bumper-mounted DRLs with LEDs and a large air dam.
It will gwt ORVMs and multi-spoke alloy wheels will be available on the sides of the car. Along with this, twin-LED headlamps and fog lamps will also be available in the car for lighting.
The dimensions and wheelbase of the new pickup truck will also be longer as compared to the Mahindra Scorpio-N model.
The pickup truck will come in petrol and diesel engine options
Like the current model, the Scorpio-N pickup truck can get petrol and diesel engine options.
It will get a 2.0-liter m-Stallion petrol engine with BS6 Phase-II standards, which generates 200hp power and 320Nm torque.
It can also get the option of a 2.2-liter m-Hawk diesel engine, which generates 130hp power and 320Nm torque.
For transmission, it will get a 6-speed manual gearbox and will be handled by an all-wheel (4X4) drive system.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Pickup Truck will be equipped with these features
Talking about the features, the Mahindra Scorpio-N pickup truck will get a 5-seater cabin on the inside with dual-tone dashboard, premium leather upholstery, vertical AC vents, automatic climate control and a multifunctional steering wheel.
It will get a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 3D Sony sound system and an 8.0-inch infotainment panel for entertainment, which will also support Amazon Alexa.
For the safety of the passengers, features like multiple airbags and parking cameras can be given in it.
Mahindra Scorpio-N pickup truck: Price and Availability
Mahindra Scorpio-N Pickup Truck price and availability will be revealed at the time of its launch. It is estimated that it can be launched around Rs 20 lakh. It will compete with Toyota Hilux.
