Car maker Mercedes-Benz has finally launched its updated Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 and AMG S 63 E Performance in the Indian market. Additionally, the Mercedes AMG S 63 E Performance Edition-1 has been introduced in limited numbers.

What’s new in the Design?
If we talk about the design 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS 600 features a signature grille with large chrome slats, a new front and rear bumper, new headlamps and tail lamps with LED patterns, and new 22-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.
On the other hand, the AMG S-Class includes the AMG Panamericana grille, sharp bumpers, large alloy wheels, and an aggressive styling package with a quad-tip exhaust at the rear.
The Edition-1 model comes with the AMG Night Package or blacked-out exterior trim, matte-black alloy wheels, and red brake calipers.
Powertrain
The 2024 Maybach GLS 600 features a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 557 bhp of power and 730 Nm of torque. It includes a 48V mild-hybrid motor that generates an additional 22 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque.
For transmission, it is paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. On the other hand, the AMG S 63 E Performance comes with plug-in hybrid technology and a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 791 bhp of power and 1,430 Nm of torque.
Cabin
The new GLS 600 comes equipped with a Burmester surround sound music system, a 360-degree camera, an updated steering wheel, an integrated fridge, rear infotainment screens, parking assistance, the latest MBUX system, and Level-2 ADAS features.
In the S-Class, you’ll find an AMG badge on the trunk, AMG-specific software for the infotainment touchscreen, exclusive Nappa leather from AMG, an AMG steering wheel, carbon fiber trim, and illuminated AMG tread plates.
The Edition-1 model adds AMG-exclusive diamond stitching and Nappa leather upholstery with AMG logos on the front headrests.
