The front features a closed-off EV-specific grille, sleek LED DRLs, connected lighting elements, and a muscular bumper design.
The side profile appears upright and rugged, while flush-fitting design elements and large alloy wheels add a premium touch. At the rear, connected LED taillamps and a sculpted tailgate contribute to a modern appearance.
Overall, Tata has managed to preserve the Sierra’s identity while giving it a futuristic electric-SUV character.
Expected Powertrain And Range
Tata Motors has not yet disclosed complete technical specifications, but recent teasers suggest that the Sierra EV will be offered with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, which Tata refers to as QWD (Quad Wheel Drive). This configuration is expected to enhance traction, performance, and off-road capability.
The Sierra EV could share battery technology with other premium Tata EVs and may offer multiple battery pack options. Industry estimates suggest a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge.
Fast-charging capability is also expected to be a major highlight, making the SUV suitable for both city commutes and long-distance travel.

The Tata Sierra EV is expected to feature a premium and technology-focused cabin. Previous showcases and teasers indicate the presence of a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, wireless smartphone integration, and a panoramic sunroof.
The dashboard design is likely to follow Tata’s latest minimalist styling approach with premium materials and soft-touch surfaces. Comfort features such as ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control, and wireless charging are also expected.
On the safety front, the SUV could offer Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and advanced driver assistance systems.

Expected Price And Rivals In India
The Tata Sierra EV is expected to be priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the battery pack and variant.
Once launched, it is likely to compete with the Mahindra BE 6, Mahindra XEV 9e, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti e Vitara, and BYD Atto 3 in the Indian market.
