Japanese car maker Toyota is working on some new cars for the Indian market. As per the reports company will soon launch two new car in country. Toyota will update its portfolio with some rebadge car of Maruti Suzuki.
So, here lets know about the upcoming cars of Toyota in the Indian market.

1-Maruti eVX based Toyota’s electric car
Toyota is working on its fist electric car which will be based on the Maruti eVX. AS per the information company will introduce this car next year in the Indian market. This EV will be based on 27PL skateboard platform and will be manufactured in the Maruti plant.
The design of this car will be similar to the eVX. It will come in two battery-pack option. This car will come with 60kWh battery pack which will give range of around 550 kilometers in full charge. Also, there will be option of 48 kWh battery pack which will give range of 400 kilometer. We are expecting that company will launch this car at starting price of 20 to 25 lakh ex-showroom in the Indian market.
2-Grand Vitara Based Toyota’s 3-seater MPV
Toyota will also introduce three-seater version of its Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which will be based on the upcoming three seater Grand Vitara. The wheelbase of this car will be 2600mm and for more safety it will be equipped with Advance Driving Assistance Technology (ADAS).
This car will be equipped with 1.5-liters 4-cylinder K15C mild Hybrid petrol engine and there will be option of 1.5-liters 3-cylinder strong Hybrid petrol engine. There will be option of manual and automatic gearbox for the transmission. This car will be launched at the starting price of 15-16 lakh ex-showroom.
