India’s largest car manufacturer company Maruti Suzuki has re-introduced the manual transmission model of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza mild-hybrid SUV in India

However, the option of mild-hybrid technology will be available only on the top-spec ZXI and ZXI+ manual variants of Maruti Suzuki Brezza.

In fact, in July last year, Maruti had quietly made changes to the Brezza range and removed mild-hybrid technology from the manual variants of the compact SUV.
This technology is already available on VXI AT, ZXI AT and ZXI+ AT variants.

Maruti has not made any other changes to the mild-hybrid manual variant of the Brezza.
It gets a new dual-pod projector headlamp setup, new roof rails, new dual-tone front and rear bumpers and new wrap-around LED taillights as before.
The cabin of the vehicle has a sunroof, cruise control, paddle shifters, Suzuki Connect telematics technology and a special touchscreen infotainment system.
Apart from this, auto climate control, key-less entry, rear parking sensor and leather wrapped power steering wheel are available.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre, K15C petrol engine equipped with Miles-Hybrid technology, which is mated to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for transmission.
Now the mileage of ZXI and ZXI+ manual variants has increased from 17.38 km/l to 19.89 km/l. However, it remains the same as before in the automatic variant at 19.8 km/l.

The manual ZXI variant equipped with hybrid technology is priced at Rs 11.05 lakh and the ZXI+ is priced at Rs 12.48 lakh (prices, ex-showroom).
