Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara Prices Hiked By Up To Rs 30,000; Check New Prices
Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara was officially launched in India on 17 February 2026 as the brand’s first all-electric SUV. It is sold through the NEXA dealership network.
The electric car was introduced with an innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership model, allowing customers to purchase the vehicle at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) while paying separately for battery usage charges.
For buyers opting for complete ownership, including the battery pack, prices start at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level variant and go up to around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec model.
Now, for the first time, the company has announced a price hike of up to Rs 30,000 across its lineup in the Indian market, citing increased input costs as the primary reason.

Let us tell you that the prices of the entry-level Delta variant of e-Vitara remain unchanged at Rs. 15.99 lakh. On the other hand Zeta, witnesses the largest increase of Rs. 30,000. Alpha and Alpha dual-tone variants, both of which have become costiler by Rs. 20,000 each.

Features of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara
Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara comes loaded with modern technology and premium equipment. The electric SUV offers a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and automatic climate control.
Safety features include Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and all-wheel disc brakes. The e Vitara also gets connected car technology, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, and fast-charging support, making it one of the most feature-rich electric SUVs in its segment.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is offered with two battery pack options – a 49 kWh unit and a larger 61 kWh pack. The smaller battery is paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing around 144 hp, while the larger battery version develops up to 174 hp. Maruti also offers an all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant on select international versions through its AllGrip-e technology.
The e Vitara delivers a claimed driving range of up to 543 km on a single charge, depending on the variant. Charging options include AC home charging as well as DC fast charging, which can replenish the battery significantly in under an hour.
