Leading car maker company Tata Motors has finally announced its January 2024 sales reports. As per the reports company has sold nearly 86,125 units last month which is 6.24 percent more than units sold in January 2023. In January last year company has sold 81,069 units in India.
the sale of commercial vehicle has slightly down. Last month company has sold 14,440 commercial vehicle in India which was 14,716 units in January 2023.
Tata Motors Passengers Car sales in January 2024
In passenger car segment Tata Motors has registered 12 percent growth. In January 2024 Tata has sold 54,033 units of passenger vehicle including electric and ICE models, which is nearly 3,800 units more than the 48,289 units sold in January 2023.
In domestic market Tata has sold 53,633 units which was 47,987 units in January 2023. Here Tata has registered 12 percent YoY growth.
Tata has exported 400 units in January which was 302 units last year same month. In exports company has register growth of 32 percent.
Talking about the electric segment company has registered 69 percent YoY growth. In January 2023 company has sold 4,133 units of electric cars in India, which was 6,979 units in January 2024.
Tata Motors MoM sales
In December 2023 Tata has sold 76,138 units of passenger and commercial vehicle. Company has register 4 percent YoY growth as compared to 72,997 units sold in December 2023. In commercial vehicle segment company sold 32,668 units and register 1 percent loss.
In MoM basis Tata sales is up by more than 10,000 units.
